Gemma CalvertProfessor Gemma Calvert, Director – Research & Development, Institute on Asian Consumer Insight, Nanyang Business School

Gemma is the Director for Research & Development at the Institute on Asian Consumer Insight (ACI) based at the Nanyang Technological University and the Founder of Neurosense – one of the world's foremost neuromarketing companies. She is an internationally renowned cognitive neuroscientist with a BSc in Social Psychology and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford. She has published over 60 articles in the field of human brain science and her research on the power of the implicit brain has been widely covered in international press and television media. Gemma has served as a Member of the Global Agenda Council on Neuroscience and Behaviour for the World Economic Forum (2011–2014), is a Fellow of the Centre for Science and Policy, U.K and currently sits on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Neuromarketing Science and Business Association. 


Ajay KushwahaAjay Kushwaha, Manager – Client Technical Sales, Commerce, IBM ASEAN

Ajay Kushwaha has over 18 years experience in the technology industry, and has been with IBM for the past 8 years. He has led clients on forward-thinking business initiatives to leverage commercial benefits of Cloud Computing, Internet-of-Things, Mobile Computing, SOA, Big Data Analytics, Web and eCommerce solutions. He brings his experience from multiple sectors like telecommunications, retail, travel, transportation and oil & gas. Currently, he leads a team of IBM technical sales solutions consultants in the ASEAN region. His team primarily focuses on B2C/B2B eCommerce and Marketing solutions, the latter of which includes omni-channel marketing, campaign management, real-time personalisation, and customer analytics solutions.


Nick FawbertNick Fawbert, Managing Director Asia, Brand New Media

As Managing Director of Brand New Media and one of the leading industry figures in the Asian content marketing sphere, Nick is an experienced, flexible, results-oriented media strategist. He has over twenty years track record delivering across global markets with extensive experience in blue chip media brands such as CBS and Yahoo. He has been based in Asia for almost a decade working with brands such as MediaCorp. He is an accomplished industry contributor, helping to launch trade associations including the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and Asia Content Marketing Association (ACMA).


Damien CummingsDamien Cummings, Global Head – Digital Marketing, Standard Chartered Bank

Damien has over 20 years' experience in digital and marketing transformation. He is one of the most recognised marketing leaders (based in Asia), having been awarded "Most Influential CMO 2015", "Marketing Professional of the Year 2012" and the "Brand Leadership Award 2011". He is currently the Global Head of Digital Marketing at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to this he was Chief Marketing Officer at Philips ASEAN & Pacific, leading brand positioning, communications & digital marketing. Before Philips, he was the Regional Marketing Director, Digital & Social Media Samsung Asia. Damien has also worked agency-side at Asia's largest advertising agency, Ogilvy & Mather, as well as at major global brands such as Citibank, Coca-Cola, NRMA and McKinsey & company.


Samir DixitSamir Dixit, Managing Director, Brand Finance Asia Pacific

With a global career spanning 19 years across brand, marketing, communications, consulting and financial industry, Samir has a wealth of experience across global strategy, research, IP management, valuation, corporate communication, PR, global brand management, balanced scorecards, global strategy navigation, brand architecture, advertising, etc. Previously, as a global brand controller at Standard Chartered Bank, Samir managed the global brand agenda with strong focus on global brand strategy, global brand tracking research/KPIs, internal communication and brand architecture. Samir was also actively involved with the brand valuation and franchise aspects of the Standard Chartered brand. In his various roles across marketing communications and advertising, Samir has worked across industry segments including FMCG, retail, hospitality, industrial products, automobiles, electronics, beverages, pharma & healthcare, NGOs, airlines etc. He has also presented at various brand conferences in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong. In the past 12 months, Samir has been driving marketing and business acceleration strategies for B2B and B2C segments alike for large multinationals and SMEs, across industry and consumer segments.


Bhavik BhattBhavik Bhatt, Strategy Director, The Bonsey Design Partnership

Bhavik is an international award winning brand consultant with a career spanning over 15 years across Asia. With his multi-disciplinary experience, he has helped create and grow some of the most successful corporate brands and their portfolios. He has worked with brands like DBS Bank and Singapore Management University in Singapore, Maybank and Nestle in Malaysia, Telkomsel and Phillip Morris in Indonesia, Cebu Pacific Airlines in the Phillipines, Reliance Group and the Taj Group of Hotels in India. Bhavik is currently the Strategy Director at The Bonsey Design Partnership, one of Asia's most respected brand consultancies. He is also the Honorary 1st Vice President at the Marketing Institute of Singapore, the national body for sales and marketing professionals.
