Inspiring the MICE leaders of tomorrow –
Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre signs Memorandum of Understanding with SACEOS


Singapore, 25 February 2015 – Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre (MIS Training Centre) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS) today to formalise the collaboration framework between the two parties.

Singapore's Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry is in a position of strength today with a record of 175 International Congresses and Convention Associations held in year 2013, a 16.7 percent increase from 150 events in 2012. Suntec Singapore's big reopening in 2014 have also signalled a strong return to the market after the convention centre undertook a yearlong modernisation programme. Singapore has been placing huge emphasis on the MICE industry and positioning itself as the venue of choice for international events. Singapore was named Asia's Top Convention City for the 12th consecutive year in 2014 by the International Congress and Convention Association.

As part of the collaboration, SACEOS will be endorsing MIS Training Centre's Advanced Diploma in International Events Management and MICE which will further enhance and equip MIS' students with the necessary knowledge and skills to be industry-ready. This collaboration also provides students with the competitive edge through industrial attachment programme with SACEOS' corporate members. SACEOS members are also offered preferential rates for MIS Training Centre's programmes.
